Refugee Higher Education

In 2019, I served as on-site and online teaching assistant for Jeremy Adelman’s Global History Lab online EdX course for students at Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement, Uganda.

Mentoring

I have mentored prospective college students at Kiryandongo and advised undergraduate as well as graduate students in archival and oral history research, thesis writing, and career development at UCL, the University of the Western Cape, Princeton, Columbia, Binghamton, Potsdam University, and Lüneburg University, among others.

In 2023-2025, I served on the dissertation committee of Namibian writer Mercia Kandukira at Binghamton.
